Controlled Tightening for Industrial Applications
The HAZET 6121-1CT is an adjustable industrial torque wrench for controlled tightening within a range of 20–120 N·m. Determine the required tightening torque from the machine or connection manufacturer’s instructions.
The 1/2″ square drive accepts compatible sockets. The reversible ratchet has 90 teeth and a 4° operating angle.
The scale graduation is 1 N·m. This describes the increments on the scale; it is separate from the ±2% torque accuracy.
The actuating force indicates the minimum and maximum force required at the handle within the specified torque range. HAZET specifies 6.0–37.4 kg for the 6121-1CT. The wrench weighs 1.14 kg.
Turn the handle to set the torque and use the locking mechanism to secure the setting. An audible and tactile click signals when the set torque is reached. Stop tightening when the signal occurs.
The stated accuracy applies to clockwise tightening. Reversing the ratchet direction does not mean that the same torque accuracy applies to anticlockwise tightening. Select a suitable model for controlled anticlockwise tightening.
Made in Germany, the wrench is supplied with a serial number and factory calibration certificate. Technical support, spare parts and calibration services are provided by Surkon.

HAZET 6121-1CT – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the HAZET 6121-1CT used for?
It is used for controlled tightening within a torque range of 20–120 N·m. Select it for assembly, service or maintenance tasks according to the torque specified for the connection.
What is the difference between the HAZET 6000 CT and 5000 series?
The HAZET 5000-3CT series is designed for automotive service, maintenance and general workshop use. The 6000 CT series includes options for industrial assembly and production applications requiring tighter torque tolerances.
Both series provide an audible and tactile signal when the set torque is reached. For example, the 5121-3CT and 6121-1CT both cover 20–120 N·m; their stated accuracies are ±3% and ±2% respectively. At a 100 N·m setting, these correspond to ±3 N·m and ±2 N·m. The 6121-1CT also has a 90-tooth HiPer ratchet with a 4° operating angle.
Accuracy and ratchet features vary by model. Select according to the required torque range, permitted tolerance, square drive size and available working space.
What should I do when the set torque is reached?
Stop tightening when the audible and tactile signal occurs. Do not continue applying force after the signal.
Can I tighten anticlockwise with the same accuracy by reversing the ratchet?
No. The stated ±2% accuracy of the HAZET 6121-1CT applies to clockwise tightening. Reversing the ratchet does not mean that the same torque accuracy applies to anticlockwise tightening.
Does the 1/2″ square drive fit only one nut size?
No. 1/2″ describes the square connection between the wrench and the socket. Select the socket opening separately to fit the nut or bolt head.
Does the 1 N·m scale graduation mean an accuracy of ±1 N·m?
No. 1 N·m is the scale graduation. Accuracy is ±2% of the set torque value. For example, at 100 N·m, this corresponds to ±2 N·m.
Are calibration services and technical support available?
Yes. Surkon is an authorised HAZET dealer and technical support provider in Türkiye. Repair, maintenance and calibration services for all HAZET equipment are provided by Surkon. After repair and maintenance of HAZET torque wrenches, Surkon issues an in-house calibration certificate. Accredited calibration services are available on request at the Surkon calibration laboratory.
